R42 Retarder is used to extend and control the setting time of ready-to-use mortars, for periods of between 24 and 72 hours. With an unsurpassed history of success, this retarder is also used to give semi-dry screed mortars a working life of one day, without leading to undue excess cracking and dusting.

The air entrainer range for mortars includes admixtures for normal and difficult sands and powder replacements, being based on natural and synthetic raw materials.

Other Oscrete admixtures for mortars include superplasticisers for early drying screeds, water repellents for mortar efflorescence control and shrinkage reducers for crack-free mortars.
